What we collect

  • Orders: your name, phone, email, pickup/delivery details, and any notes you provide at checkout.
  • Wholesale applications: your business name and type, contact name, phone, email, location, estimated volume, and notes.
  • Site usage: aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics (e.g., page views) — no advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your information only to prepare and fulfill your orders, arrange pickup or local delivery, respond to wholesale inquiries, and operate this website. We do not sell or rent your information.

Only the service providers that help us run the bakery and site, and only as needed: website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), and, where online payment is offered, payment processing (Stripe).

Email & communications (CASL)

We email you about your order or wholesale inquiry. Any promotional email is sent only with your consent and always includes an easy way to unsubscribe.

Payments

When online card payment is offered, it is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Email us and we'll take care of it.

Terms of use

Product availability, pricing, and pickup/delivery options may change. Placing an order is a request that we confirm; payment is collected at pickup or on delivery unless stated otherwise. Content and branding on this site belong to The Dough House.
